New Fells Reservation Lecture Series

Ed Myskowski of Salem’s Peabody Essex Museum will present a lecture on the geologic features of the Fells Reservation on Tuesday, December 1, 7 p.m., Botume House, 4 Woodland Road, Stoneham.
Join The Friends of the Middlesex Fells in welcoming Ed Myskowski of Salem’s Peabody Essex Museum. Mr. Myskowski will deliver a free talk entitled “Middlesex Fells Geology.”
Glacial geology and climate change will be among topics covered in Ed’s talk, which will serve as a preview to a guided walk he will lead on Saturday, December 5th in the Middlesex Fells Reservation.
The “Geology of the Fells” walk will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. Meet at the Bellevue Pond parking area, South Border Rd., Medford. Rain or snow date: December 6, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
This is the first lecture of a new Botume House series the Friends of the Middlesex Fells is sponsoring on topics of local natural and cultural history!
